Dave Whaley is a Singer-Songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina. He started writing songs on guitar in High School, directly inspired by his guitar playing parents who sang and played for him throughout his childhood.
During college, Dave began performing solo acoustic gigs in the Triangle area. Soon, he began putting together a band, which led to a recording project.
Eudaimonia was recorded in Raleigh, and mixed and edited by producer/engineer, Chris Stamey at Modern Recording in Chapel Hill. Inspired by iconic songwriters like Van Morrison and Jackson Browne, as well as many of the artists of the Americana/Roots-rock sound, Eudaimonia is a reflection of Dave’s love for acoustic-based roots music.
Dave is currently working on recording a new EP to be released later this year.
